CALIRAYA SPRINGS - FVR CUP
The annual golf tournament popularly known as “The FVR Cup,” was held last June 3, 2006 at Caliraya Springs Golf and Country Club in Cavinti, Laguna for three consecutive years. Mr. Peter Wallace sponsored the event. Among the participants were Mr. Robert Chan of Atlanta Group of Companies and land owner of Caliraya Springs.
Former President Fidel V. Ramos led the ribbon cutting. Followed by the registration of the participants. Each participant received a bag of goodies from Teletech, one of the leading call centers in the country. The major prize was a brand new Ford Focus sponsored by Ford Cars Philippines for whoever wins a Hole in One. Then the participants proceeded to the fine dining room to have a sumptuous breakfast provided by La Cucina de Caliraya.
The golf tournament began at 8:00 AM, with ceremonial first tee off by former Pres. Ramos. In between the tournament, snacks were served at the tee house. The tournament finished at 2:00 PM. Lunch and Awarding Ceremony was held at Mr. Peter Wallace’s place. Mr. Wallace provided lunch for the participants. No one won the Hole in One prize.
The tournament ended with all the participants going home with a smile on their faces and looking forward for the next FVR Cup.
